| One step of the construction of the Heraldic Device was creating a cast replica of a priceless, solid gold, military medal. I utilized my past experience and research on materials for mold-making and castingto headed up duplication of the coin. The outer disk I had milled out of billet aluminum and powedercoated. I cast then cast the coin in 2 halves, one half is mounted to each side of the disk in a recessed groove that is milled into the surface. | ||
