Another fringe benefit, getting to go on the tours. This was a 2.5 hour whale watching excursion in Hoonah, Alaska. A group of about 30 boarded the "Baranoff Wind" and headed for a famous whale spotting area. It was a 35 minute ride out and the weather was perfect for whale watching.
